Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 9, 2026. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the rights you have over your data - wherever you are.

1. Who we are

Globe Geeks ("we", "us") is a digital marketing and AI automation agency operating from California, USA, serving clients in the United States, Canada, Australia, the United Arab Emirates, the European Union, New Zealand and Singapore. For any privacy matter, contact hello@globegeeks.com. We act as the data controller for information collected through this website.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide: when you use our contact form, package inquiry form or chatbot, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), website URL, business type, approximate marketing budget (optional) and the content of your message.

Information collected automatically: IP address (used for security and spam prevention), pages visited, referral source, UTM campaign parameters, browser and device type, and cookies as described in our Cookie Policy.

Client engagement data: if you become a client, we process business data needed to deliver services (analytics access, advertising accounts, call recordings where lawfully enabled, CRM data). Such processing is governed by the service agreement and, where required, a data processing addendum.

We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16, and our services are directed at businesses, not consumers.

3. Why we process your data (legal bases)

We process personal data to respond to inquiries and provide services (performance of a contract or steps prior to entering one); to send relevant follow-up communications (legitimate interests or consent, depending on your jurisdiction - every message includes an opt-out); to secure our website against abuse (legitimate interests); and to comply with legal obligations. Where consent is the basis, you may withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

4. Sharing and processors

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share data only with service providers who process it on our instructions - hosting, email delivery, analytics, spam protection (e.g., Cloudflare) - under contracts that restrict their use of your data, and with authorities where the law requires it.

5. International transfers

Our systems are hosted in the United States. If you are in the EU/EEA, UK, or another jurisdiction with transfer restrictions, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses for client engagements. By submitting an inquiry you understand your data will be processed in the US.

6. Retention

Inquiry data is retained while we correspond with you and for up to 24 months after last contact, unless you request earlier deletion. Client records are retained for the engagement plus the period required by tax and contract law. Security logs are retained for up to 12 months.

7. Security

We apply industry-standard safeguards: encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed credentials, access controls, rate limiting and anti-abuse systems. No system is 100% secure; in the unlikely event of a breach affecting your rights, we will notify you and regulators as applicable law requires.

8. Your rights by region

European Union (GDPR): you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

California (CCPA/CPRA): you have the right to know what personal information we collect, to request deletion or correction, to opt out of sale/sharing (we do not sell or share), and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. Requests: email us; we verify identity before acting.

Canada (PIPEDA): you may access and correct your personal information and withdraw consent; complaints may be directed to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Australia (Privacy Act 1988, APPs): you may request access to and correction of your personal information; complaints may be raised with us first and then the OAIC.

New Zealand (Privacy Act 2020): you may request access and correction; complaints may be made to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner.

Singapore (PDPA): you may request access and correction and withdraw consent; our practices align with the PDPA data protection obligations.

UAE (PDPL): you have rights of access, correction, deletion and objection to processing consistent with Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021.

To exercise any right, email hello@globegeeks.com with the subject "Privacy Request". We respond within 30 days (or sooner where local law requires).

9. Marketing communications

We send follow-up and marketing emails consistent with CAN-SPAM (US), CASL (Canada), the Spam Act 2003 (Australia), the Unsolicited Electronic Messages Act (NZ) and Singapore's Spam Control Act: accurate sender information, no misleading subject lines, and a working unsubscribe in every message, honored promptly.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as our services or the law evolve. Material changes will be reflected by the date above. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance.
